Shera Cox grew up and graduated high school in Rose Hill, KS. She graduated from Langston University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree and the University of Oklahoma with her Master of Science in Nursing Education. After college, Shera worked as a Public Health nurse in Tulsa County. In this position she worked in a program with first-time mothers and their child, teaching them parenting skills and the community support available to them. After receiving her MS in Education, she taught nursing classes at TCC, OU, and OKC Kramer Nursing School.
Shera has always been interested in home remodeling and decorating, so after deciding to change careers, Shera was able to follow her dream and develop a housing development in Edmond – the Solidago Ranch Estates. It was this experience that led her to the decision to enter the real estate field in 2018. “Nursing and education taught me organizational and critical thinking skills that are vital in my career,” Shera says, “However, my experience in development and new construction has given me the awareness of all aspects of real estate. I know how to recognize good craftsmanship and see problems that might be present or arise in the future.” Shera also helps educate her sellers on de-cluttering, online presentation and quality photography, and offers expert staging advice.
A full-service agent, Shera is familiar with residential and land listings in the OKC Metro area including Edmond, Wellston, and Guthrie. She calls Edmond her home, however she lived in Broken Arrow for over ten years, and owns a home in Tulsa, and is familiar with the Tulsa Metro area. When not selling real estate, Shera enjoys decorating, remodeling, and riding bikes all around Oklahoma.
